About Us
Puerta Vieja is a place to reconnect with tradition: soulful cooking, views that linger long after the meal, and a place where every detail tells a story.
Since 2003
OUR STORY
Puerta Vieja opened its doors on December 1, 2003. The restaurant was born from the idea of creating a welcoming dining experience in Cabo San Lucas, with classic decor and traditional dishes that reflect a Mexican touch. Its name is inspired by the iconic Indian wooden doors, hand-carved 163 years ago, that welcome our guests.
Manuel Bobadilla, founding director and owner, has led the organization and event planning since day one.
Today
WHO WE ARE
Puerta Vieja is one of the restaurants in Cabo San Lucas favored by locals and visitors alike, thanks to its blend of international cuisine, flavors of the sea and an authentic Mexican touch. Its menu ranges from fine cuts and handmade pastas to exquisite dishes prepared with fresh seafood.
As a ocean view restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, just minutes from the Marina, our terrace with a view of the Arch of Cabo San Lucas creates the perfect setting for breakfasts, brunch with friends or sunset dinners, all accompanied by signature cocktails, live music and an elegant atmosphere that invites you to stay.
With more than 20 years of history, Puerta Vieja has established itself as a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the Sea of Cortez and a benchmark in Los Cabos, offering a memorable dining experience with ocean views.
